Cookie Notice
Draft for review. Not lawyer-reviewed final. Effective date: pending.
This Cookie Notice explains how ContextRocket uses cookies and similar device storage (together, “cookies”) on our website and service, and how you control them. It complements our Privacy Notice. Cookies are governed by the EU ePrivacy rules and, in the countries we serve, by the Spanish framework (LSSI-CE and AEPD cookie guidance) and the German TDDDG §25.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or data entries stored on your device when you visit a website. They help a site function, remember choices, understand usage, or support marketing.
2. Your consent controls
- Strictly necessary cookies run without consent. They are needed for the site to work securely.
- All other categories are off by default. We only set functional, analytics, or marketing cookies after you give prior, affirmative consent.
- No pre-ticked boxes. Optional categories are never pre-selected.
- No cookie wall. You can use the core site whether or not you accept optional cookies.
- Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Our banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Manage choices with equal prominence on the first layer.
- Withdraw or change any time. You can revisit your choices from the cookie settings link and withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.
- Re-prompting. We will ask again if this notice’s version changes, and at most every 6 months.
- Consent proof. We record the timestamp, the version shown, and your per-category choices to demonstrate compliance.
At launch the site runs strictly-necessary storage only. Any analytics or marketing technology stays disabled until you give explicit consent.
3. Cookie categories
These are the categories you can control. Strictly necessary storage is always on; every other category is opt-in and stays off until you consent.
- Strictly necessary
- Session and authentication, security (CSRF), load-balancing, and remembering your cookie choice.
- Always on, no consent needed
- Functional
- Remembering non-essential preferences (for example language or UI settings).
- Opt-in
- Analytics
- Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Opt-in
- Marketing
- Measuring and delivering relevant marketing.

4. Managing your cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from cookie preferences. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
5. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice. When the version changes, we will re-prompt for consent where required. Each version is dated and versioned.
